The past year has been a rollercoaster in the prop trading industry. We’ve seen hundreds of new firms launching and just as many closing up shop, some in as little as 4 days! We’ve also seen a huge rise in futures prop firms owing to developments in the underlying tech and white-label options.
Fast Track Trading was one of these firms which offered too-good-to-be-true instant funding accounts. Countless traders were left out of pocket when the company folded in late 2024, many of whom then decided to launch a class-action lawsuit. On more positive news, one of our top partnered firms, FunderPro, have been going on strong and are continuing to pay out traders in as little as 3 seconds! Around 4000 of our members have now joined this firm and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We look forward to continuing this partnership going into 2025 when FunderPro are set to launch their futures trading accounts.
Moving forward to 2025, here’s what we are working on.
The London Prop Trading Expo 2025
We’re Thrilled to be part of the team creating The London Prop Trading Expo happening in Central London on 17th May 2025. This event will showcase the very best of the industry and give a chance for traders to meet the people behind the prop firms as well as other traders.
It will also be a chance for firms to showcase their offering to over 2000 traders in-person and thousands more online.
We will be putting together more information on this event in January but for now, if anyone would like to take part in anyway or is interested in exhibiting, feel free to get in touch via email (tony@proptraders.club).
New Partnership Bright Funded
Over the past year, I’ve made a conscious effort to reduce the number of firms to partner with or vouch for. Instead I have been focusing on a select few firms that I feel offer a fair and rewarding experience for traders. Some key points I look for are:
- Investment in tech infrastructure
- Experience of the executive team
- Fairness of rules and restrictions
- Payout system and reports of unjust denials
Over the past few weeks I have been researching Bright Funded and also had a chat with the CEO, Jelle. I believe this firm ticks all the above boxes and I’m going to be partnering with this firm going forward. I’ll be putting out a review later this week also by journaling my experience trading with Bright Funded.

I’ve been trialing a new type of content in which I document my experience with a firm from purchasing the account to receiving payouts. I feel this provides a genuine look into how the firm operates and what readers can expect if they were to join that firm. I will be putting out more of this type of content in 2025 and will be aiming to build a portfolio of prop accounts which members can follow.

Castle Trading League
Whilst this is not Prop Trader Club related, or even prop related, I feel many members will find this exciting. Over the past year I have co-founded Castle Trading League, a unique platform that hosts free and paid trading competitions.
The model we will use will be provably fair as anyone can track the entrants and payouts which will be made up of the entree fee, minus a small commission.
Castle Trading League will be going live Q1 of 2025 and I’ll be rewarding members with some exclusive perks and promo credits, so keep an eye out!
Giveaways and Building the Community
The Facebook group has been a bit quiet recently, which is partly due to a change in the Facebook algorithm regarding groups. To keep the community active, I’m going to be getting the discord server up and running this month. This server will be the new home for Prop Traders Club and will allow members to communicate more efficiently.
There has also been a lack of giveaways recently which is something I want to improve. Over the past couple of years we’ve facilitated over $10k worth of free accounts to our members which has provided opportunities to those who might otherwise would have not had a chance to trade with a prop firm. I will be hosting more giveaways on Discord and X, so keep an eye out for those!
