The Ryze Funding Challenge Model
As mentioned in the intro, this firm offers a choice of two-phase or three-phase challenges, with the latter reducing the cost significantly. In this section, I’m going to go over how this challenge works and how much you can expect to pay.
Overview of Challenges
When it comes to choosing a challenge, there are four options available:
- Two-Phase (Unlimited)
- Two-Phase (Plus+)
- Three-Phase (Unlimited)
- Three-Phase (Plus+)
Unlimited vs Plus+
There are only a couple differences between these account types which I will outline below.
Unlimited: These accounts have no maximum trading days which means you can take as long as you need to pass the challenge. The max drawdown is set at 12%.
Plus+: These accounts have a maximum time limit of 60 days for phase one and 120 days for further phases. The max drawdown is set at 15%.
Profit Targets
The profit targets for the challenges are as follows:
Daily and Overall Drawdown
The daily drawdown for all accounts is set at 5% and is based on balance as appose to equity.
For the “unlimited” challenges, the overall drawdown is set at 12%.
For the “plus+” challenges, the overall drawdown is increased to 15%.
Rules and Restrictions
News Trading
Trading on and around the news is allowed. The only exception is the following:
It is important to note that placing both buy stops and sell stops on the same instrument in anticipation of a news release is considered gambling and is not allowed on the platform.
Copy Trading
With regards to copy trading, this firm allows copying trades as long as it is your own. Copying third-party traders or using signals is not allowed.
As with most firms, account management services are also not allowed.
Weekend Holding
Weekend and overnight holding is allowed across all account types.
Max Capital
The maximum capital allocation for a single trader is $750,000. You may scale above this level, however.
Hedging
Hedging on single accounts is allowed. Hedging across multiple accounts or traders is not allowed.
How Much Does it Cost?
When it comes to pricing, there are two options. You can opt for the standard two-phase challenge which is a regular price. Alternatively, you can choose to do an additional phase (3% profit target) to reduce the cost significantly.
The prices of unlimited and plus+ options are identical.
Getting Paid – Payout and Withdrawal Process
You can request a withdrawal from within the trader’s dashboard. To be eligible for a withdrawal you must have met one of the following:
- For first withdrawals: 14 days must have passed since your last trade.
- For future withdrawals: 14 days must have passed since your last withdrawal
All payouts are processed through DEEL. From here, traders can choose various options to withdraw the money such as crypto, bank transfer and Paypal.
